Generative & Agentic AI

Built, Evaluated, and Deployed for the Real World

Zoorna AI designs, builds, and evaluates generative and agentic AI systems for organizations where performance, reliability, and real-world deployment actually matter.

We bring the technical depth of a research engineering practice and the strategic clarity of senior advisory. We offer specialized expertise in multilingual, cross-cultural, and high-stakes contexts that most AI teams don't have.

SERVICES

Our Services

Zoorna AI delivers focused engagements across six practice areas spanning architecture, development, evaluation, and strategy. Each is anchored in two decades of applied AI research and engineering, and grounded in the specific challenges of deploying AI that actually performs across languages, cultures, and high-stakes environments.

01

Agentic & Generative AI Development

We design, prototype, and deploy agentic and generative AI systems grounded in real operational needs, not lab experiments. From multi-agent pipeline architecture to handoff-ready implementation, we build systems that work in production and that your team can maintain and extend.

  • Multi-agent system design and pipeline development

  • Prototype and MVP development using real mission-relevant data

  • LLM integration, orchestration, and workflow automation

  • Structured information extraction from complex, noisy documents

  • Knowledge graph construction and representation

  • Handoff-ready deliverables with documentation and evaluation

02

Agentic Analytics

From raw text to structured intelligence. We build agentic analytics systems that reason over narrative and unstructured content — extracting events, timelines, causal chains, stance, framing, and influence patterns across languages, sources, and domains.

  • Narrative analysis and event extraction

  • Temporal and causal reasoning over document collections

  • Stance detection, ideology classification, and framing analysis

  • Influence and network analytics

  • Cross-lingual analytics pipelines

  • Decision-support outputs for operational and strategic use

03

AI Evaluation & Benchmarking

Research-grade assessment of LLM and agentic AI systems for organizations where deployment decisions have real consequences. We design evaluation frameworks that are valid, reproducible, and tied to your actual use case, not off-the-shelf benchmarks that miss what matters.

  • Custom evaluation framework design tied to your use case and data

  • Vendor and model comparison with decision-grade reporting

  • Rubric development with anchor examples and adjudication workflows

  • AI-judge calibration and human-in-the-loop validation

  • Agentic system evaluation including multi-step reasoning and tool use

  • Evaluation infrastructure handoff so your team can run it independently

04

Multilingual & Cultural AI

Most AI systems are built and tested in English, then assumed to work everywhere else. We find where they don't and fix it. Specialized expertise in cross-linguistic failure mode detection, cultural-pragmatic alignment, and the languages of the Middle East and the Caucasus that mainstream AI consistently underserves.

  • Cross-linguistic and cross-cultural failure mode detection

  • Cultural-pragmatic alignment review for global product teams

  • Heritage and low-resource language strategy and implementation

  • Specialized expertise in Persian, Armenian, Kurdish, and related languages

  • Multilingual NLP pipeline design and evaluation

  • Diaspora and community-serving language technology

05

AI Strategy & Roadmap

For leadership teams that need a credible, actionable plan for AI adoption not a generic framework. We deliver current-state analysis, prioritized use-case roadmaps, and governance alignment grounded in operational reality and two decades of federal and commercial AI deployment experience.

  • Current-state assessment and AI readiness analysis

  • Prioritized use-case roadmap with sequencing and dependencies

  • Governance and regulatory alignment (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, sector-specific requirements)

  • Risk identification and responsible deployment planning

  • Written strategy ready for board, executive team, or funder review

06

AI Literacy & Enablement

AI strategy fails when the people implementing it don't understand what they're working with. We deliver executive education and workforce enablement that builds real AI fluency — tailored to your industry, your team, and the decisions you actually need to make.

  • Board and executive briefings on AI strategy, risk, and capability

  • Custom AI literacy curricula for leadership and professional teams

  • Industry-specific workshops for regulated industries and global organizations

  • AI upskilling programs for internal teams

  • AI for Nonprofits and Rescue Organizations (see our dedicated program)

APPROACH

Why Zoorna AI

Zoorna AI brings together research-grade technical depth and rare linguistic expertise to design, build, and evaluate AI systems that actually perform in the real world — across languages, cultures, and operational contexts that most AI teams aren't equipped to handle.

Every engagement is led by Dr. Karine Megerdoomian, a computational linguist and AI researcher with 20+ years of applied research and engineering experience. That means direct access to senior expertise, not a junior team interpreting your needs up a chain.

The work draws on three core strengths most AI consultants don't have:

* Two decades of applied AI research and engineering. From federal R&D at MITRE to commercial deployments, the work has always been evaluated against operational reality not benchmark scores. That rigor shapes every system we design and every evaluation we run.

* Linguistic and cultural depth. Formally trained as a computational linguist, with ongoing research on multilingual NLP, cultural-pragmatic alignment, and narrative AI. This surfaces failure modes that standard testing consistently misses.

* Languages of the Middle East and the Caucasus. Specialized expertise in Persian, Armenian, and related low-resource and heritage languages, directly relevant to global product teams, educational intstitutions, and diaspora-serving organizations.

ABOUT

About
Karine

Zoorna AI is the applied AI practice of Dr. Karine Megerdoomian, a computational linguist and AI systems architect with 20+ years of experience in natural language processing, generative AI, and agentic systems.

Karine spent 18 years at the MITRE Corporation, most recently as Principal AI Engineer, leading multi-year applied AI research, development, and evaluation programs for federal sponsors including the US Courts, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Census Bureau, and Department of Defense partners. Her work spanned agentic and generative AI system design, LLM evaluation, multilingual NLP, narrative and event analytics, structured information extraction, and responsible AI governance for high-stakes deployment contexts.

She holds a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Southern California, a master's with secondary specialization in

neural computation (USC), a Bachelor of Science in Physics, and completed the Chief Technology Officer Program at the Wharton School.

Karine has been a research voice in computational linguistics for over two decades. Her recent and forthcoming publications include co-authored work on cultural-pragmatic alignment in LLMs (EMNLP 2025), a book chapter on Persian language pedagogy (Routledge, 2026), and prior work in PNAS, EMNLP, NAACL, ACL, COLING, LREC, and leading theoretical linguistics journals. She has served as NSF Linguistics Program reviewer, organized the SilkRoadNLP Workshop at EACL 2026, and serves on the doctoral committee of a PhD candidate at Université Paris Cité.

She also founded and directs the Zoorna Institute for Language, AI, and Society, a nonprofit research and education entity advancing multilingual NLP and low-resource language technology.
